This was by far one of the best hikes I’ve done in Georgia. The actual trail is about 12.9 miles long, but don’t let the short length deceive you. It might have been the weather (we had an arctic storm), but this was a fairly strenuous hike. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the snow and ice just added to it. It took about 5 3/4 hours to complete. I highly recommend this hike and it is great for winter too.
